Mirage Mythos Demeter

The Mythos collection continues its journey through the divine pantheon of ancient Greece, drawing from the myths that have shaped centuries of art, poetry, and philosophy. In 2025, Visconti unveils two new chapters in this timeless saga, inspired by one of the most poignant and enduring tales of Classical mythology: the sacred bond between Demeter and Persephone, mother and daughter, goddess of the harvest and queen of the underworld.
Demeter, the benevolent goddess of the earth’s fertility and the nourishing force behind every harvest, is honored with a design that radiates vitality and abundance. Crafted in a glossy, sunlit orange resin, her pen evokes ripened fields, golden grain, and the warmth of life-giving soil. The rich color is animated by subtle golden hues, symbolizing the sun’s embrace over fertile land. This vibrant palette is paired with yellow gold trims, enhancing the luxurious aura of this edition and echoing the divine splendor of the Olympian goddess.
Persephone, the enigmatic daughter of Demeter and queen of the underworld, represents duality and transformation — the eternal cycle of light and shadow. Her pen captures this mystique with a deep violet matte resin, interwoven with midnight blue undertones, invoking the quiet majesty of dusk and the silent promise of spring’s return. Finished with ruthenium trims and a gleaming palladium nib (an unprecedented mix for the Mirage Mythos collection), the design conveys strength, poise, and the sovereignty of a goddess who reigns over the threshold between worlds.
Together, these two writing instruments celebrate contrast and harmony — light and darkness, abundance and withdrawal, mother and daughter. The Mirage Mythos Demeter and Persephone are not only tributes to myth but also metaphors for the human experience: moments of growth and periods of reflection, united by a shared thread of beauty, mystery, and purpose.
