Montegrappa Magnifica

Magnifica is a completely original design that revisits the concepts of the past, improving them with modern materials and multi-axial milling.

Available in regular edition in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint versions, Magnifica combines matte resin and satin IP steel finishes in a silhouette that is much more varied and complex than first appearances suggest.

Evolved from the simple elegance of Fortuna, Magnifica’s fresh, architectural approach offers a distinctive and exceptional presence. Complex CNC machining gives the barrel, cap and cap band their unique 12-sided profile (6 concave and 6 convex) – a shape often found in mid-century collectible models, but never with this level of nuance, precision or ergonomic verve.

Measuring 16.7mm at its widest point, the silhouette’s elegant tapered and wavy concave/convex shape feels inviting and substantial, offering a satisfying balance amplified by tactile and soft finishes. The fountain pens are cartridge/converter powered and use a 6mm filigree steel nib (EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Stub 1.5).
