The Origin Collection -Doué LeGrand Blue

One hundred years after its appearance in 1924, the Meisterstück line is the most famous writing instrument of all the Montblanc collections. The name, “masterpiece” in German, is both a work of art and an important piece of history.
Montblanc drew fully from its archives to create the Origin Collection, a true tribute to the Meisterstück and its centenary history. The collection draws inspiration from early designs found in Montblanc’s archives, as well as design features featured on the earliest Meisterstück editions, capturing the founding spirit and infusing it with a modern flair.

The Doué LeGrand model, in precious blue resin, is made with platinum finishes. The special blue lacquer cap is inspired by the historic Art Déco motif found among archive pieces, as is the clip with a vintage 1920s shape. Furthermore, the cap bears the historic Meisterstück logo laser engraved, while the head with the iconic logo is blue. The design on the Au750 gold nib is also dedicated to the centenary of the line. The collection is available in the piston fountain pen version, the rollerball with screw cap and the twist ballpoint.
